Brent Heath of Brent and Becky's Bulbs told me to expect great things from 'Supreme Garden' amaryllis, and I was more than happy with the dozen blossoms the big bulb produced in early March.
The plant has been out on the deck for a couple of months, and I was just getting ready to dry her down for a little rest when she decided she had a few blooms yet to go. Because this Hippeastrum produces a cluster of bulblets rather than a single large bulb, I think one of the young 'uns couldn't wait for Christmas.
